# Enclosure manufacturing — CAMS-1 ## External target **300 × 500 × 320 mm** (W × H × D), sealed, ~**22 L net** after bracing/driver displacement (verify with your midbass Vas). ## Drawings - PNG MFG: [`diagrams/church-mid-speaker-mfg-drawing.png`](diagrams/church-mid-speaker-mfg-drawing.png) - Exploded: [`diagrams/church-mid-exploded-assembly.png`](diagrams/church-mid-exploded-assembly.png) - SVG elevations: [`diagrams/cams1-elevations.svg`](diagrams/cams1-elevations.svg) - Cut list: [`cut-list.csv`](cut-list.csv) ## Driver cutouts **Do not use guessed diameters.** Print templates from: - Scan-Speak 32W/8878T00 (or chosen mid) datasheet - Scan-Speak D2608/913000 (or chosen HF) datasheet CNC recommended: 0.5 mm clearance then gasket. ## Joinery 1. Rabbet sides into baffle/back (stronger) **or** butt + biscuits. 2. Glue + clamp 24 h; wipe squeeze-out inside. 3. Seal **all** internal seams with acoustic sealant (airtight sealed box). 4. Install T-nuts from inside before final back panel if access limited. ## Damping - Bitumen sheets on side/top/bottom walls (not on bracing windows that must stay open). - Light polyfill in volume (do not pack tight against mid magnet). ## Amp bay Rear aluminum plate carries dual LM3886 heatsinks **outside** the box airflow. Gasket plate to cabinet. Earth IEC ground to plate. ## Pole mount Install cup in bottom panel with threaded inserts + silicone. Torque per cup datasheet. Test with stand under full weight before shipping. ## Finish Sand 120→220; fill voids; matte black texture **or** wood veneer for sanctuary aesthetics. Keep baffle edge crisp for grille fit. ## VERIFY before batch - Net volume vs sealed alignment (WinISD / VituixCAD) - Baffle diffraction (optional roundover 12–18 mm) - Grille clearance on cone excursion - Thermal: amp plate temperature rise after 2 h speech-shaped noise @ 1/8 power
